Making Your Own DIY Foaming Hand Soap Removes Toxins from your Home
Over the past couple of years, I've been working really hard to remove any kind of toxic products from my home. This includes cleaning products, bath and body products and food products.
When I first started learning about toxic ingredients, I used the Environmental Working Group's website to learn more about the products I was using and what ingredients are considered toxic.
For a long time, I would use the Environmental Working Group's website to find products that were considered safe by their standards. This worked really well for a while. But I decided I wanted to take things a step further and know exactly what is in my products. This way I can decide what I feel is safe for my family and me.
Making Your Own DIY Foaming Hand Soap is Easy
This hand soap is simple to make yourself and is very moisturizing. I know when I tried this hand soap, I decided I never need to buy hand soap from the store again. It is luxurious, smells good and is effective for cleaning your hands.
Ingredients to Make DIY Foaming Hand Soap
You can find these ingredients in places like Starwest Botanicals, Mountain Rose Herbs or even Amazon. You can also check your local health food store.
Oil: You can use sunflower oil, avocado oil or olive oil.
Vegetable Glycerin: This is good to have on hand for other bath and body products as well.
Essential Oils: You can pick whatever essential oil you like best at the moment. Sometimes I use lavender in my soap. Other times, I like to use one of Doterra's blends. A couple of my favorites right now are Citrus Bliss and On Guard.
Distilled or Boiled Water: Make sure your water is not chlorinated.
Foaming Soap Dispenser:
I have used this kind where I don't mind having glass. It fits right on top of a mason jar.
I have also used this kind that is plastic. These are great if you aren't comfortable with having glass around your sink.
Instructions for Mixing Your Own DIY Foaming Hand Soap
